• Acting as a Magistrate (Merseyside Bench) • Assisting a local Parish Council with community special events planning • Being signatories of the Railway Mental Health Charter • Being signatories of the Women in Rail & Rail Industry Association Equality • Chair of the Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT) Board • Coaching at Liverpool Cricket Club Juniors section • Committee Member, Team Manager and Official for Solihull & Small Heath Athletics Club • Committee Member, Team Manager and Official for Warwickshire County Athletics Association • Donating Platelets to the National Health Service • Governing as a Local Authority School Governor & Buildings Committee Chair at St Vincents Primary School, Altrincham • Judging for the National Railway Heritage Awards • Leading safety policy as a Health & Safety Officer at St Mary’s Parish Church, Thirsk • Lecturing and tutoring for the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators Railways Operations Degree • Lecturing and tutoring for the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators Diploma • Lecturing and tutoring for the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators Apprentice scheme • Managing Blackmore Youth Football Club (FC), a local youth team • Member of the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators Policy Panel • Member of the UK Research & Innovation Research Panel • Mentoring a number of young railway professionals through the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators mentoring programme • Secretary of the Midland Women’s Cross Country League • Sponsoring ten schools across the UK into the Rail Safe Friendly programme • Supporting the railway Golden Planners awards • Supporting (and participating in) the Railway Children charity at their events such as the Railway Children Sleep Out • Team Manager for Railsport • Undertaking a Trustee role of De Mowbray Music charity • Volunteering at Zero Food Waste, Liverpool • Volunteering in a Community run Village shop in the parish of Whiteshill & Ruscombe.
In the last year, efforts totalled over 1,500 hours, equivalent to 25 days for each of our eight partners at Winder Phillips Associates. We are dedicated to continuing this meaningful work and are always seeking further opportunities to expand our impact. Additionally, we donate 1% of our turnover to support various charitable organisations, including:
