How We Help

We take immense pride in sharing our Social Value activity, which acknowledges the remarkable contributions made throughout our partnership. Our partners actively engage in diverse roles across various organisations and initiatives, showcasing their commitment. These roles include:

• Leading safety policy as a Health & Safety Officer at St Mary’s Parish Church, Thirsk.

• Lecturing and tutoring for the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators Railways Operators (CIRO) Degree educational programme.

• Lecturing and tutoring for the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators (CIRO) Diploma educational programme.

• Lecturing and tutoring for the Chartered Institution of Railway Operators (CIRO) Apprentice scheme educational programme.

• Managing Blackmore Youth Football Club (FC), a local youth team.

• Secretary of the Midland Women’s Cross Country League and Divisional Secretary for Division 2 of the League. 

• Signatories of the Railway Mental Health Charter.

• Signatories of the Rail Safety and Standards Board Welfare Facilities Charter.

• Signatories of the Women in Rail & Rail Industry Association Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Charter.

• Supporting the railway Golden Planners awards.

• Supporting (and participating in) the Railway Children charity at their events such as the Railway Children Sleep Out, Beacon Rail football tournament.

• Team Manager for RailSport.

• Trustee for the Railway Benefit Fund and member of benefits committee.

• Undertaking a Trustee role of De Mowbray Music charity.

• Volunteering at Zero Food Waste, Liverpool.

In the last year, efforts totalled over 1,847 hours, equivalent to 30 days for each of our eight partners at Winder Phillips Associates. We are dedicated to continuing this meaningful work and are always seeking further opportunities to expand our impact.  Additionally, we donate 1% of our turnover to support various charitable organisations, including:
